Anyone near Targhee national forest has most likely heard of Mesa Falls. I’ve personally been there a few times, and it is a well-known spot with lots of traffic during the summer. At the upper falls, you can find any information you need at the visitor’s center. From the upper falls, there is a short nature path with signs identifying native plants and animals. While this doesn’t connect to the lower falls parking lot, you will get a great view of the lower falls at the end. I recommend paying a visit.

This picture was taken at the scenic overlook on the way to the falls.

My friend and I posing for a picture. We’re obviously awesome.
